| Visit the other 21 Apostle Islands, or a 12 miles of mainland Lake Superior shoreline, featuring pristine sand beaches, spectacular sea caves, old-growth forests, bald eagles and black bears, and the largest collection of lighthouses anywhere in the National Park System. Great sailing, boating, kayaking, and hiking. Permits are required for camping and reservations are recommended. The visitor center is a short walk from the Bayfield end of the ferry. |
