| The Deer Farm was started in 1969 by Russell and Marjorie Hamilton. This was the 3rd Deer Farm they had opened. It was purchased by Paul and Dawn Whitman in 1974. Randy and Pat George, the current owners, with their 3 sons came along in March 1987. Since then we have expanded both the store and the animal population. We added Reindeer, Axis Deer, Talking Birds, Wallabies, Coatimundi, Marmosets, Mini Cattle, and new as of this year a Baby Camel and two Baby Bison. |
